House Surveys are a vital part of the process of buying property, and until Home Information Packs [HIP’s] include a Home Condition Report, many about to purchase a home will require their own detailed survey. We have 40 years continuous experience of residential surveys and mortgage valuation reports, and can give our clients the satisfaction of discussing arrangements, and priorities of concern with the surveyor. Today reports commissioned directly through banks and building societies are more often than not undertaken by a ‘Surveyor’ from outside the locality with a list of properties to be inspected that day. In such reports the comments are usually stock phrases taken from the computer base.
